Design Guided by Experience
Heather Manning is the founder of Aetheria Interiors and a Registered Interior Designer (RID) whose work is shaped by a deep understanding of how environments influence daily life, wellbeing, and long-term use.
Her approach goes beyond aesthetics by integrating biophilic design principles, spacial flow, material intelligence, and effective lighting design to create interiors that support how people actually live, rest, and function. Each project is uniquely intentional, evidence-based, and sensitive to both human and environmental systems.
Based in the mountain community of Silver Star, Heather brings a lived understanding of seasonal living, second homes, and high-performance residential environments, designing spaces that are calm, durable, and built to perform over time.

Place and Purpose: Where Design Decisions Take Shape
The Silver Star Design Centre
The Silver Star Design Centre is a working design showroom, studio, and community space located in the Village of Silver Star Mountain Resort. It was created to support clear, confident decisions about how homes are designed and renovated in the Silver Star Community context or the greater North Okanagan Region.
More than a traditional showroom, the Centre is open to walk-ins and attracts guests of the mountain resort. It also brings together homeowners, property managers, and builders in conversations, shaped by the realities of mountain living.
Through its signature events ‘Après Design‘, the Centre hosts expert-led conversations that guide homeowners in making informed decisions about renovation planning, lighting, furnishings, art, materials & finishes, with an eye not only for aesthetics but for long-term performance.
Relaxed gatherings, thoughtful conversations, and shared exploration around design, home, and mountain living.
The Silver Star Design Centre hosts small-scale events and design conversations created for homeowners, builders, and those curious about how thoughtful design shapes the way we live.
These gatherings are an opportunity to ask questions, explore ideas, and engage in meaningful dialogue around materials, light, wellness, and the realities of mountain homes — in an informal, welcoming setting.
